Dylan Lupton Signs With High Point Racing

Simi Valley, CA - High Point Racing is proud to announce the addition of sixteen year old Dylan Lupton as the newest driver of the #56 Langers S-2 car. Lupton, who lives in Wilton, CA and attends Jesuit High School as a Junior will be pulling double duty in the 2010 race season as he runs in both the S-2 division as well as the TAG Senior division in IKF Region 7 Go-Kart events.

“Dylan definitely has shown a lot of talent and skill in his few years racing in go-karts” team owner Tim Huddleston said. “We are excited to have Dylan as part of our Driver Development program and feel that the S-2 is going to be the perfect transition for him to a full bodied stock car.”

So far in 2010, Dylan has already amassed 3 podium finishes in the TAG Senior division. He took the top spot in his Tag Senior debut at Button Willow. Aside from being a top notch driver, Dylan is also an honor role student and participates in several hours of community service which includes volunteering at the local homeless shelter serving dinners.

“My dad and I researched a lot of teams when looking at moving into NASCAR,” Lupton explained. “We felt that High Point Racing was the strongest operation and Toyota Speedway is definitely a great track to develop in stock car racing. We’re happy to be part of the team for 2010.”

High Point Racing is a Driver Development Program that fields cars in four divisions at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.
