County Line Gears Up for 5th Annual Race for the Kids (November 14-16)

Elm City, NC. --  Race fans and the Mid-Atlantic regions elite Super Late Model and Open-Wheel Modified dirt modified drivers are locked and loaded for Friday nights November 15th kickoff event at County Line Raceway for the 5th Annual “Race for the Kids� Benefiting Victory Junction Gang Camp  – the undisputed marquee event for County Line Raceway.

Set for Thursday-Saturday, November. 14th-16th, more than $70,000 in prize money will be up for grabs in this year’s blockbuster event, with $10,000 to win for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series, $5,000 to win for the Open Wheel Modifieds, $1,000 to win Thunder & Lightning and the return of the US Legends Dirt Modifieds over the course of three nights. Saturday night will also feature The Walking Tall Monster Truck and a $1,000 winner take all demolition derby.

Drivers will turn practice laps Thursday night at ‘The Line.’ Drivers will look for just about every track condition they might encounter throughout the weekend.  Pit gates will open at 4pm, Grandstand at 5pm with cars hitting the track at 6pm!

On Friday, the Thunder & Lightning Division feature will pay $1,000 to the winner and $100 to start. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series drivers will hit the track for the H&R Block Night of Qualifying. 2 laps make up qualifying followed by heats. The Open Wheel Modified Division Owens Construction Night of Qualifying will also hit the track with 2 laps of qualifying followed by heats. Drivers will be fighting for the top 2 spots as they are locked into Saturday nights $5,000 to win 40 lap feature. The night will also see the US Legends Dirt Modifieds hit the track for a test n tune session. Pit gate opens at 4pm. Gates open for the fans at 5 p.m. and the first green flag waves at 7:15 p.m.

A Bean Bag Tournament begins earlier in the day on Saturday. Pit and grandstand gates will open at 2pm. Saturday's explosive finale will feature the hottest dirt track pilots in the nation battling for over $70,000 in prize money.  Last chance races for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series kick off the night’s action along with the return of the US Legends Dirt Modifieds.  The Ultimate Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified main events that will take to the track with a 4 wide salute to the fans! 40 laps make up the Open Wheel Modified main event with a $5,000 payday awaiting the winner. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series drivers will blister the 3/8ths mile clay oval in 14 seconds at close to 100 mph average speed. 50 laps make up the contest with a whopping $10,000 prize awaiting the champion.  The night will end with a bang as The Walking Tall Monster Truck smashes his way down the front stretch, thrilling fans of all ages. If that isn’t enough, the fan favorite, $1,000 winner take all demolition derby returns once again. All the metal mashing action takes place right on the front stretch!
