Ultimate Super Late Model Series Makes its Return to CLR Friday Night
After last Saturday night’s rainout, County Line Raceway fans and drivers are ready to get back to the track. This week excitement has been swirling, with everyone waiting to see which drivers would toss their hat into the race for the Ultimate Super Late Model 50 lap Tar River Throwdown.
The Tar River Throwdown will welcome back the Ultimate Super Late Model Series to the 3/8ths mile clay oval in Elm City. The names are some of the biggest on the East Coast. County Line’s hometown drivers such as ‘The Professor’ Christian Joyner, Travis Hair, Dustin Mitchell, Michael Batten and Roger Lucas will try to out do the Ultimate Series regulars of Casey Roberts, Casey Barrow, and Zack Mitchell but we also have national names planning to roll into town such as Austin Hubbard, Dale McDowell, Tim ‘T-Mac’ McCreadie and last May’s winner, Chris Madden. Could there be even more surprises roll through the gate? The only way to find out is be there Friday night!
Track officials have also added the PL Woodard Pure Stock V-8 special that was rained out last weekend to this weekend’s schedule. The men and women of the Pure Stock V-8 division will battle it out for 15 laps with the winner taking the $350 first place prize.
