New England Dwarf Car Series
Harmon Victorious at Claremont Motorsports Park!
Claremont, NH- The New England Dwarf Car Series Presented by Construction Site Machinery in association with Bumpy’s Auto Service of Salem, NH took the trip to Claremont Motorsports Park with 16 cars in attendance.
With 3 rounds of practice we saw 3 different drivers pacing them, Andrew Harmon (14) in round 1, Cody Hodgdon (31) in round 2, and Tom Harwood (29) in round 3. Unfortunately for Hodgdon his right rear axel and hub decided it had enough ending his day. Harmon took the win in heat race 1 and Justin Harris (29NH) made his return taking the win in heat 2!
After the invert we had our first father and son front row with Ronnie Carman (07) and Ryan Carman (08). Ryan Carman rocketed out to the early lead but by lap 8 Harman caught him and took over the lead. Harman took off and captured his 2nd win of the season. Harris opted to start tail and drove his way to the front before being involved in
a lap 6 incident that ended Harwood’s day and the 26x of Bob Poloski.
Harris would rebound and take over the 2nd spot on lap 21 but just wouldn’t have enough time to run down Harmon. Zig Geno in car #57 who lost the 2nd spot to Harris on lap 21 would battle Ryan Carman to the line to capture the 3rd spot leaving Ryan Carman in 4th and Chris Sullivan in the 0No rounded out the top 5!
We are back in action Sunday September 15th at Star Speedway as part of their Classic weekend as we will look to crown the first ever winner of the Bumpy’s Auto Service Crusade for the Crown! Heading into the event Tom Harwood leads the Bumpy’ Auto Service Crusade for the Crown points with Cody Hodgdon 2nd and Andrew Harmon in 3rd. Harwood will be the favorite heading in as the most recent winner at Star Speedway.
