Shipley notches runner-up finish at Attica

Friday night found Colin Shipley in action at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) to return to the driver’s seat of his Cure SMA No. 44s Late Model. With a third-place finish in his heat race lining him up on the pole for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Colin challenged Steve Casebolt for the lead throughout the feature but was never able to pass the eventual race-winner. On Saturday at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio), Shipley secured his spot into the A-Main with a heat race win but Mother Nature wiped out the finale.
