Shipley marches to Top-5 finish at Oakshade

Saturday saw Colin Shipley return to the driver’s seat of his No. 44 Late Model at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) with the Mullins LS 7 under the hood. After shock issues in time trials, Shipley got collected with an infield tire in his heat that resulted in an early exit. Charging from the tail in the feature, Colin passed 14 cars in the 25-lap affair to register an impressive fifth-place finish. He followed Rusty Schlenk, Devin Shiels, Brian Ruhlman, and Dusty Moore across the line.
