Top-5 finish for Shipley at Oakshade Raceway

Friday night found Colin Shipley in action at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) competing in a field of 20 Late Models. Following the 12th fastest time in qualifying, Colin held his spot for all eight-laps of his heat race to finish sixth. Starting the feature in 17th, Shipley advanced through the field 11 spots in the 25-lapper to place sixth. He was awarded the Hard Charger honors for his impressive run. (DirtismyGlitter photo)

On Saturday afternoon at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio), Shipley scored a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him fifth on the starting grid for the A-Main. Clawing forward one spot, Colin recorded a fourth-place finish behind Chris Keller, Rusty Schlenk, Steve Kester with Steve Miller coming in fifth.
