Pair of Top-10 finishes with Southern All Stars to open 2021

Making his first start of the 2021 season, Colin Shipley traveled to Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the Southern All Star Series doubleheader. Drawing 23 cars for the Spring Break Bash at the Beach, Colin failed to qualify for the opening night feature in his time trial session, sending him into the B-Main. Coming in third, Shipley locked into the 15th-starting position for the A-Main. With $3,000 on the line, Colin Shipley advanced through the field nine spots to register a sixth-place finish.

The following night, Shipley secured his spot into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group. Rolling off seventh, Colin held his spot for the entire distance of the 50-lapper to place seventh.
