Racing Action from the Murray County Speedway

Friday May 27th shaped up to be an amazing night to race on this amazing Memorial Day weekend. The R&H Sealcoating Mods made another stop to the Murray County Speedway. The races were sponsored by Viking Coca-Cola out of Marshall MN.

S&S Electric MCRA Pickups
Matt Odom and Jon Joehnck lead the pack to the start. As the green flag drops Jordan Rolling takes the early lead. Odom passes Rolling for the lead after battling. Odom is able to hold off Rolling and Joehnck for the win.

IMCA Last Chance Auto Parts Sport Compacts
Robert Pottratz and Tori Groebner lead the field to the track. When the green drops Groebner takes the early lead. A caution is out for Matt Smith. The caution is charged on Pottratz sending him the back on the restart. As the green flag drops once again Bunkofske and Groebner battle for the lead. Bunkofske is able to pull away for the lead. Nate Coopman makes his way from the back to the second place position. A caution is out for Josh Uhl. On the restart Coopman takes the lead from Bunkofske. Coopman is able to hold off for the win under caution with Bunkofske Jason Good and Smith following.

IMCA Sturtevant’s Auto Supply Northern Sport Mods
Jeremy Van Ede and Tony Rialson lead the field to the track. As the green drops Rialson takes the lead. Nick Johansen and Darin Veen go back and forth for the fifth place position. A caution is out for Danny Myervold. As the green flag drops once again Rialson pulls out for the early lead. Matt Looft passes Johansen for the fourth place position. A caution is out for Ed Lenorad, for a spin on the back stretch. On the restart Rialson is able to pull out for the lead once again. Looft makes his way into the second place position. Jared Bourmeister and Van Ede battle for the third place position. Van Ede pulls away with the third place position. A caution is out at Tanner Gregorie who spins on the front stretch. On the restart Rialson is able to hold off Looft for the lead. Van Ede and Bourmeister battle for the third place position. Keenan Nordquist makes his way around Johansen for the fifth place. Rialson enters the pits ending his night handing over the first place position to Looft. Looft is able to hold on for the win with Bourmeister, Van Ede, and Nordquist following close behind.

IMCA Sing Pro/ Car Toyz Stock Cars
Levi Feltman and Devine Kuehne lead the field onto the track. As the green flag waves Kuehne pulls away for the lead. A caution is out for Kuehne sending him to the back. On the restart Feltman takes the first place position. Dustin Larson makes his way around Jake Bruns for the third place position from the last place position. Dave Mackenthun, Feltman and Larson going three wide around the track for the first place position. Larson is able to pull out in from for the lead. Bruns makes his way into the fourth place position. Kevin DeBaere passes for second place. A caution is pulled as Mike Carlson spins. Larson pulls away on the restart for the lead. Mackenthun and DeBaere battle for the second place position. A caution is out as Matt Schauer is off the pace. On the restart Larson pulls out to the lead once again and is able to hold on for the win with Mackenthun and DeBaere following close behind.

IMCA R&H Seal coating Modifieds
Jeremy Smith and Don Gerritson lead the field to the green flag. As the flag waves Gerritson takes the early lead. Jason Briese and Dalton Magers go back and forth for the third place position. There is a red flag out for a major pile up on the front stretch including 6 cars. The pile up is charged on Briese. On the green flag, Smith pulls away with the lead. Magers passes Gerritson for the second place position. Gerriston and Jesse Rogotzke battle for the third place position. Rogotzke pulls away and passes Magers for the second place position. Brandon Beckendorf makes his way around Gerritson and Magers for the third place position. Tyler Limoges passes Magers for fourth. Smith is able to hold off for the win with Rogotzke and Limoges following close behind.

IMCA Bolluyt Trucking Hobby Stocks
Trevor Holm and Justin Bolluyt lead the pack onto the track. As the green flag drops Holm pulls out for the lead. Cory Probst, John Ross, and Eric Gillette go three wide into turns one and two battle for the 6th place position. Brad Snyder and Corey Groenwald go side by side for the third place position. Groenwald pulls away from Brad Snyder with the third place position. Going three wide for the second place position is Gillette, Brad Snyder, and Groenwald. Groenwald pulls away with second and Gillette pulls into the third place position. Brad Snyder falls back into another 3 way battle for fourth with Probst and Adam Snyder. Probst breaks away with the fourth place position. A caution is out for Adam Snyder hitting the wall. On the restart Holm pulls away with the lead. A caution is out for Adam Bruder. On the restart once again Holm pulls away with the lead. Bolluyt falls to the back of the pack. A caution is out as Bolluyt spins off the track. On the restart Dan Strandberg, Justin Luinenberg and Gillette go three wide entering turn one for the third place position. A caution is out for Luinenberg getting off pace. The caution is charged on Bruder ending his night. Luinenberg goes into the work area. On the restart Ross and Groenwald battle for the fifth place position. Ross is able to pull away with fifth. A caution is out for Will Miller. On the restart Probst, Ross and Gillette go three wide for the second place position. Holm is able to hold off for the win with Ross, and Gillette following close behind.

June 4th Races will be sponsored by Pizza Ranch out of Slayton and Midwest Supply out of Slayton. The R&H Sealcoating IMCA Modifies will be making another stop at the Murray County Speedway.
