Mother Nature gets second win at Greenbush Race Park
A cloudy overcast day had Greenbush Race Park officials hoping that the rain would hold off long enough for them to get the racing program in. But two laps into the first heat a light rain started forcing the cars to the pits, and about 30 minutes later that persistent light rain forced promoter Jaime Sovde to cancel the nights racing program.
Up next for the fastest 1/4 mile track in Northwestern Minnesota will be the first visit of the year for the NLRA Late Models and the Jack Grahn Memorial. The "Dugan" Nelson Memorial for the Midwest Modifieds will also be made up this evening. Also running that evening will be the Streets, Pure Stocks, and Outlaw Mini Mods. Gates open at 4 pm, cutoff for the draw is at 6 pm with the green flag dropping at 7pm sharp.
