JAMES HILL SCORES FIRST WIN OF SEASON IN MOD LITES
Kirk Miles, Sr. started on the pole in the 15-lap Mod Lite feature but Ray Gulliver made the pass to lead lap one. James Hill was the driver on a mission as he quickly drove from sixth to take the lead from Gulliver on the second circuit. Hill quickly opened a lead and would never be headed.
Tim White held third until just prior to halfway when last week’s winner, Mike Stratton secured the spot. The race would remain caution free as Hill maintained a substantial lead to collect his first checkered of the season. Gulliver ended a strong run in second with Stratton third. White finished in the fourth spot and Ryan Dryden had a solid run to finish in fifth. Heats were won by Hill and Stratton
