FREDDY BRIGHTBILL WINS VINTAGE - ROBERT REED REPEATS IN SLIDE FOR 5
The 12-lap Vintage Stock Car championship had a good field of 16 cars. Scott Calhoun held off Dwayne Heck for the first four circuits before former track modified start, Freddy Brightbill powered into second in the outside groove. Brightbill took the lead at the halfway sign and never looked back to record the win in the Ritter No. 25. Heck finished in second with C.J. Schirmer third. Fourth went to Mark Williams and Vic Thomas finished first sportsman in fifth.
