Trevor Sise Fights Hard to Win ATC Dash Which Propels Him to Crossville Victory

The time had finally come for our annual trip to the beautiful Crossville Speedway for Thunder on the Mountain paying $3,000 to win! Twenty-one of America's Best Pro Late Models signed in to do battle.

Trevor Sise would set the tone early taking the BHR Fabrication Fast Time with a time of 13.531. Logan Walls, would turn in a career best qualifying lap at Crossville with a time of 13.638 and Jesse Lowe would go third quick at a 13.667. Tyler Price set the fourth fastest time in his first start of the season with the series at a 13.682 while Hayden Cardwell would round out the top five with a time of 13.686.

The ATC Bolts & Fasteners Dash was a wild one with all six cars racing two by two the whole 6 laps. Trevor had the high side with Logan Walls racing just below. At the line Trevor would beat Logan by .049 with Jesse Lowe crossing just behind in third. The heats were also exciting to watch with Perry Delaney picking up Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet Heat 1 over AJ Hicks and Baillie Lowe. Outside Groove Heat 2 took a couple slide jobs to decide with Randy Weaver picking up the win over Tim Damron and Ryan Smith.

With the preliminary action done it was time for 40 laps of Thunder on the Mountain! The race started with a decent green flag run with Sise catching lapped traffic and Logan Walls hot on his tail while Trevor's brother Zach was making some moves from starting 5th. Then a group of cautions slowed the show temporarily and one red flag condition. Trevor Sise would not be denied on the night though as he held on to grab another AAS victory this season picking up the $3,000 payday! Brother, Zach Sise would finish second with Logan Walls hanging on to third. Hayden Cardwell with another great points night took fourth while "The Social Media All-Star," William Blankenship got the Hyperco Hard Charger after having bad luck all night, he had a strong end! The Hall of Famer, Randy Weaver, would take sixth with Ross White taking seventh. Gunner Johnson, AJ Hicks, and Tyler Price would round out the top ten.
