Meet the Team: Ann Ross
The Midwest Legends Dirt Series could not operate if it wasn’t for some very dedicated people. This article series will spotlight the men and women behind the scenes who keep the wheels turning and races going.
Today we meet Ann Ross. Ann is responsible for all things money related for the series. From making sure we have enough to race to making sure every driver gets the right amount at the end of the night. Let’s get to know a little bit more about Ann below.
Name - Ann Ross
Hometown - Two Rivers, WI
Position - Treasurer
How did you get into racing - My dad raced at 141 Speedway in the 1960's. Even after he stopped racing, we went there as a family as often as we could. My oldest son Dallas started
racing legends cars in 2008 followed by his brother Ethan in 2009.
Thoughts on the 2024 season - For a new group I feel we did really well and accomplished a lot. I am still learning every day.
Favorite memory from the season - I have lots of memories from the season. One very bright one is getting to spend almost every weekend with my husband Dave, son Dallas, brother CJ and my sister-in-law Nicole. Also getting to see Dallas do what he is very passionate about.
Favorite part - As treasurer I was able to meet all of the drivers and some of their families. I also loved travelling to many different tracks.
If you have been to the track, you will have seen Ann at some point. Whether it is during the drivers meeting or at the end of the night picking up your payout. Ann has been with the series since the start and will continue her role into the 2025 season!!
