West Allis, WI (September 30th, 2024) - Jackson Lewis wrote his name in the history book as he was crowned the inaugural Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct champion. A grueling fourteen-race long season has come to an end after a fantastic first season for the MLDS.

A season full of ups and downs, the series visited two states, Wisconsin and Iowa, eight tracks, Angell Park Speedway, Gravity Park Speedway, Beaver Dam Raceway, Maquoketa Speedway, Lafayette County Speedway, Benton County Speedway, Outagamie Speedway, and 141 Speedway.

The series saw sixty-four drivers from four different states, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota, as well as one driver from New South Wales, Australia. Five drivers made all the features, with Ryan Sullivan, Jordan Miklas, Jackson Lewis, Hayden Schmuhl, and Brady Ascherien all completing the entire season.

After the final night of the season rained out and the drop points were calculated the top twenty in points ended up as:

Jackson Lewis won the most features, with eight being the total and took home a ton from Rush Racegear and Aero Race Wheels. Lewis, Michael Weber, and Brady Ascherien shared the most hard charger nights, with each of the drivers having two nights to their name. All of them were awarded contingency prizes from Rush Race Gear and Sunset Auto. Thirteen drivers won Racecom Receiver Devices from HMS Motorsports throughout the season.

The season will be honored at Nora’s Tavern in Deerfield, Wisconsin on November 9th. More info on the banquet will be announced as the dates get closer.

The board will be meeting in the near future to finalize the 2025 season schedule, which is shaping up to be an exciting season. The series will also meet with drivers and teams to get a group consensus on what went well this season and what could be improved on in an effort to make the series the best for everyone.

The Midwest Legends Dirt Series board and staff would like to thank everyone that made the first ever season a huge success.
