RICKY LEWIS TAKES HOME HIS 3RD FEATURE RACE WIN

Hartford, MI (Friday, June 9, 2023) -Great Lakes Traditional Sprints presented by PErfit Engine Pro (GLTS) had their first race of the season at Hartford Speedway. The night was packed with a thrilling event of high speed racing and an amazing turnout in the stands. To start this right, we would like to say thank you to all the drivers, fans, sponsors, and staff members who came out to the race and supported us.

Ricky Lewis (Oxnard, CA) started in 5th place and after a caution he was able to charge up onto Steve Irwin (Fenton,MI) who was holding the lead. With a couple laps remaining Lewis passed by Irwin and was able to hold on for the final laps to take home the Feature Race win for the third time this season!

Max Frank (Williamston, MI) moved up 6 positions from 13th to 7th place winning the Hoosier Racing Tire Hard Charger. Lewis sets a fast time of 16.765 taking home the MPD Racing Fast Qualifier!

Lewis wins the Engler Machine and Tool Heat Race 1. Issac Chapple (Willow Branch, IN) wins the Beacon & Bridge Market Heat Race 2.

Next Up! GLTS will be racing at I-96 Speedway on June 16th and Silver Bullet Speedway on June 24!!
