LEWIS STRIKES AGAIN!!

Auburn, MI-Great Lakes Traditional Sprints presented by PErfit Engine Pro (GLTS) had their first race of the season at Tri-City Motor Speedway! We had quite a few cautions out on the track, thankfully our drivers are okay. Max Frank had a big wreck coming out of turn two and he is in recovery. The track conditions were good, but GLTS really knows how to put on a fantastic show! The night was packed with a thrilling event of high speed racing and an amazing turnout in the stands. To start this right, we would like to say thank you to all the drivers, fans, sponsors, and staff members who came out to the race and supported us.

Ricky Lewis (Camarillo, CA) started in 3rd place and after several cautions, he was able take the lead within the last few laps. Lewis was able to take home his fifth Feature Race win of the season with the GLTS! Excellent performances were also displayed by Keith Sheffer Jr. (Jerome, MI) who took the wing off his 360 and joined the 410's, earning the Hoosier Racing Tire Hard Charger award by climbing eight positions from 15th to 7th place.

Brian Ruhlman (Clark Lake, MI) sets a fast time with a time of 12.650 seconds taking home the MPD Racing Fast Qualifier! Second fast time was Lewis with a time of 12.673 seconds. Third fast time was Steve Irwin (Fenton, MI) with a time of 12.763 seconds. Ruhlam wins the Engler Machine and Tool Heat Race 1. Lewis wins the Beacon & Bridge Market Heat Race 2.
