Chick Tackling Berlin Raceway This Weekend With JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour

Inside Line Promotions – DE SOTO, Kan. (July 11, 2017) – Mandy Chick is excited for her second JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour race of the season this weekend at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich.

Chick jumped on board with the All Stars Tour on July 3 at Lebanon I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., where she scored her first top 10 with the tour and fifth of the season.

“I’m excited to get to Berlin Raceway this weekend,” she said. “It’s another new track for me and will definitely be a learning experience. I think racing at Lebanon I-44 Speedway this season has prepared me mentally and physically for a lot of the tracks on the tour, especially Berlin.”

Chick will travel to Berlin Raceway early for some additional testing on Thursday.

“We’re going to head up early and get some laps around the place before we go into race trim,” she said. “Johnny VanDoorn will be down there with us and I’m looking forward to learning from him. He has a lot of laps logged around Berlin, as well as experience, and I certainly think his advice will be crucial and will help us come race time on Saturday.”

Friday will consist of another day of practice for Chick, alongside some of the other heavy hitters on the tour, before Saturday’s race.

“There’s going to be a lot of good competition there this weekend,” she said. “(Carson) Hocevar is pretty good around Berlin. I’m looking forward to racing with those guys and taking it all as a learning experience, too.”
