Chick Excited for Weekend at Winchester With JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour

Inside Line Promotions – DE SOTO, Ka. (Aug. 31, 2017) – Mandy Chick returns to JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour competition this weekend at the World Stock Car Festival hosted by Winchester Speedway.

“I’m excited to get back behind the wheel,” she said. “We’ve been preparing for this race for a couple of weeks now. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the shop and learning the track from studying videos and iRacing.”

This will mark Chick’s first career race at the high-banked, half-mile oval located in Winchester, Ind.

“Going back to my racing background of quarter midgets, the majority of the tracks we went to had a good bit of banking to them so I think that will help me out a little bit,” she said. “I’ve also been practicing at Bristol on iRacing as a form of simulation of the high banks as well.”

Chick, who is coming off a top-10 finish a couple of weeks ago, is hungry for higher qualifying efforts and even better feature results.

“I feel very confident going into this weekend,” she said. “We have a great team behind us that works hard to get us where we need to be. I’ve got a driver coach that has worked with me so much and who I’m able to progress with. And we have one of the best spotters in the business with tons of experience on and off the track, Brian Brown, who I can’t possibly say enough good things about.”

Qualifying and the main event are slated for Sunday.
