Johnny Scott falls just short of Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway
With the off-weekend behind him, Johnny Scott turned his attention to the 33rd-annual Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) where he was one of 63 Late Models signed in with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series on Friday afternoon.
After missing the setup in qualifying, Johnny made up five spots in his 25-lap preliminary feature to land a Top-10 finish in ninth.
For Saturday's $50,000-to-win finale, Scott battled for a Top-2 transfer position in his Last Chance Showdown, but came up short with a fifth-place outing. For the non-qualifiers Prairie Dirt Shootout, Johnny completed all 25-laps for an eight-place showing.
