Krug picks up podium finish at i-80 Speedway

Josh Krug Racing – Ashland-Greenwood, Neb. (08/07/2020) - Josh Krug rallied late in Friday night's A feature to finish third at i-80 Speedway for NASCAR Weekly Racing Competition.

Krug started the evening off with a strong third place finish in his heat race, moving up five sport from his eighth place starting position.

The five spots gained in the heat put Krug inside row three to start the feature.

After falling back a few spots initially, Krug rallied midway through the race to charge up to second. In the closing laps, Krug tried to fend off Bill Leighton for the runner up spot. However, Leighton claimed the spot with four laps to go putting krug in third for the remaining laps.
