Rodney Sanders finishes fourth in USMTS points race

After Mother Nature reduced the four-race stretch to one event, Rodney Sanders trekked to 81 Speedway (Park City, Kan.) on Saturday evening to wrap up the United State Modified Touring Series (USMTS) season with the second annual USMTS Modified Spook-tacular. Drawing 38 cars, Sanders recorded a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the $10,130-to-win A-Main. After tagging the front-stretch wall to draw a caution, Rodney charged from the tail of the field to finish 14th.

He finished fourth in the finale USMTS point standings.
