Sixth-place finish with Lucas Oil MLRA at 34 Raceway

Making his debut with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals, Justin Duty invaded Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Thursday afternoon for the ninth round of the Hell Tour. Drawing a stout field of 35 Late Models, Duty recorded a fifth-place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win A-Main. On Friday evening at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned event, Justin logged a seventh-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 18th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Justin was one of nine cars that pulled off early.

The following night at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa), Duty followed up the ninth fastest time overall in qualifying with a third-place finish in his heat. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in ninth, Justin gained three spots in the 40-lapper to finish sixth.

Justin climbed to fifth in the latest Lucas Oil MLRA point standings.
