Report from Dirt Trackin' Show
The Young Guns 390 Junior Sprints were on hand for the 2011 Dirt Trackin’ expo as part of the Shippensburg Speedway booth. The #18 Hyper YG390 of Jacob Moose was on display showing off its impressive new look for 2011. Impressive enough that it earned 3rd Place in the People’s Choice Award on Sunday as voted on by the fans attending the show. The fans cast their votes by donating money to the YCRC Injured Driver's Fund, Jacob’s car helped raise $328 for the fund which placed the car in 3rd, the show raised over $2000 for the fund in total.
Even with attendance down this year the #18 YG390 of Jacob Moose attracted a lot of attention. Many people stopped by to get more information on the car and the YG390 Series. Many expressed direct interest in joining the Series and look forward to coming out to catch an YG390 Series event once the season gets started.
Jacob got to know Ms. Jessie Morrison, driver of the #18J 358 Sprint car during the show. Ms. Morrison is also the host of the weekly show Race Night that is shown in the Gettysburg area and on the internet. Look for Jacob to be featured during one of the weekly shows this summer during the racing season. We’ll be sure to announce when the show will air.
