Hodges Motorsports Update

Now the Hodges Motorsports Team has a couple of weeks off before we head to Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, NM on November 11-12 for an ASCS National show. Last weekend we were in Mesquite, TX at Devil's Bowl Speedway for the Winternationals where we had a bit of a tough couple races. Both nights I drew bad pills and started 7th in our heat races. In both I was able to run up to 5th on polar opposite tracks (the first night was sticky and fast but the second was really slick). The first night I started 4th in the B main and was up to 3rd when I soared off the end of turn 1 and backed the car into the fence. For the second night we had to change cars as the the other was pretty well used up, and started 4th once again in the B. I made it to 3rd in that race as well, but fell just a bit short of 2nd and a transfer spot into the A feature. After tearing up a car and having to pay for some motors, we decided to save up some money and stay home from the Short Track Nationals this weekend so we were ready for this last bit of racing in November.
