July 12 Friday Night Street Fight No Prep to be Postponed due to Starting Line Damage

Due to the concrete damage sustained during the Hillbilly Bracket Bash, Friday Night, July 12 No Prep Street Fight will be postponed to allow crews to come in to repair the starting line.
Mark and Denise Cathell, promoters of US 13 Dragway wanted to say “Thank You” to everyone for your understanding, offers to help and kind words. Even though the weekend was cut short due to issues with concrete coming apart, it was a huge chance for us to show the tremendous strides we’ve made with our track prep.
We have been on the phone with several key contacts in the drag racing industry on how to correct these issues in a timely manner. I want to thank Kurt E Johnson and Duane Troy for their time and input. We will only have to postpone one event, which is Friday Night, July 12th, but will be back in action the weekend of July 19-21. A reschedule date will be coming soon.
Can’t thank John Miller, Bill Foster, Dave Keyton and many others who were there and ready to lend a hand Friday night when this all began. My wife is working hard to finalize all the credits to be issued for Sunday's portion to those racers who still had an entry. We hope to have all that completed and mailed out in just a couple days.
This is just a small hurdle in the race to keep the U.S.13 Dragway alive and well! You have our promise to continue to provide everyone a place to race!!
