LAKE VIEW, SC (May 4) – Greenville, SC driver Rod Tucker made his first trip to Lake View Motor Speedway a memorable one by dominating the Bryan Owens Memorial Street Stock Special Saturday night for the win and over $2,000 for his efforts.

Contenders Austin Rodonis and Blaise Bryant were caught up in an incident on lap nine when they collided in turn two. Following Tucker to the checkered flag were Banjo Duke, Kade Langley, Cameron Holloway, and Mike Coursey. Rounding out the top 10 were Cameron Norris, IV, Caleb McLaughlin, Joey Wilkes, Tanner Rodonis, and Bryant.
After blistering the track in qualifying, Shaun Harrell fought off an early charge from Christian Thomas for his first Late Model win of the season. The caution waved twice for spins by David Fisher and Blake Sanderson in turn two. Behind Harrell and Thomas at the finish were Michael Marlowe, AJ Belanger, and Daniel Tucker.
After an inversion of the top six qualifiers, Scott Lewis started on the pole and led every lap for his first Fred’s Tire & Auto Stock V8 win of the year. The caution waved on lap two when Derek Kemper spun in turn four from contact with Jason Floyd. Rounding out the top five were Ed Mason and Johnny Clark.
Second fastest qualifier Jerry Johnson got the jump at the start and led every lap for his second Morrisonbuilt Performance SCDRA Sport Compact win of the season. The caution waved early on after a spin by Brian Mercer on the frontstretch. It would wave again on lap nine when Collin Brown and Paul Duchaine also spun on the frontstretch.
