Hanks Set for Atomic Speedway Debut During All Star Doubleheader This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – BURLISON, Tenn. (Aug. 22, 2017) – Brandon Hanks is Atomic bound for an Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions doubleheader this weekend.
Hanks will compete with the series on Friday and Saturday at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, where he will make his debut.
“I think it’s my favorite group to run with,” he said. “I really enjoy running with them. We ran really good the last time with them so helpfully we can back it up.
“I’ve heard Atomic Speedway gets really slick, but I don’t know of a track in Ohio that doesn’t. I’m looking forward to it. I think some things we learned at Mansfield Motor Speedway (earlier this month) will help us a lot.”
Hanks earned a career-best All Star result during his most recent race with the series on June 9 when he placed seventh at Lincoln Fairgrounds in Lincoln, Ill.
“It gave me a pretty good boost,” he said. “I feel like we’re capable of running in the top five and eventually competing for the win. It’s about getting more seat time.”
Hanks is also riding momentum after he posted his career-best World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series earlier this month.
