Miles paces field enroute to victory in GRT Legends Late Model Series opener!
Murfreesboro, AR - Jason Miles of Glenwood, AR came out swinging in the GRT Race Cars Legends Late Model Series opener at Diamond Park Speedway and cruised to victory in his Buster Roberts Logging/Fowler Auctioneers/Stucky Enterprises Black Diamond #503.
Miles held off a late race challenge from Jon Kirby of Russellville, AR in the Kirby Enterprises/Rocket XR 1 #11 machine. Kirby and the #26F of Cole Farmer of Glenwood, AR in his Farmers Tree Service/Rocket raced door to door the closing laps and got together on the last lap - both continued to finish second and third respectively.
Dustin Holmes of Glenwood, AR finished fourth in his Glenwood Auto Parts Rocket #33X and Chris Taylor of Texarkana brought his #34 Murphy & Son Timber/GRT Race Cars ride home in fifth.
33X Holmes picks up the $50 bonus for the Designer Graphics Hard Charger award and Taylor #34 collects the $100 GRT Race Cars Inc. highest finisher bonus cash. A box of #Team5Enterprises rivets goes to the top (3) finishers of #503 Miles, #11 Kirby, and the #25F of Cole Farmer.
The next race date for the GRT Race Cars Legends Late Models is next Friday, April 9th, 2021, at the Centerville Super Speedway in Centerville, Arkansas followed by the series' first ever trip to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR on Saturday, May 8th.
