Max Schroeder Wins the Super Late Model Super 7 Series Main Event

South Sound Speedway on Saturday September 14, 2024, was full of excitement with four classes on hand. Powersports NW Super Late Models, 14 cars for 100-laps twice, Vintage Modifieds, 9 cars for 35-laps, Auto Tech Services Mini Stocks, 8 cars for 30-laps, and Olympia Overhead Doors Tuner, 16 cars for 22-laps.
Super Late Model Main Event started with Matt Doyle on the pole, and Tom Sweatman on the outside. Sweatman takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 1, front stretch Doyle’s car slows to a stop, bringing out caution number 1. On lap 10, turns 1 and 2, Shawn Jones and JJ Hamilton get together and spin, bringing out caution number 2. Max Schroeder takes the lead on lap 14. On lap 81, front stretch, Matt Barrett spins, bringing out caution number 3. Schroeder goes on to win the Super Late Model 100-lap Main event, followed by Sweatman, Tristan Haider, Zach Riehl, and Hamilton to round out the top five.

Matt Doyle wins Championship.
Vintage Modifieds Main Event started with Mike Duman on the pole, and Dominick Hunter on the outside. After the green flag, turn 3, Joey Cavin spins, bringing out caution number 1, and a complete restart. On the restart, turn 3, Travis Brown spins, bringing out caution number 2. Duman takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 3, back stretch, Duman’s car slows, bringing out caution number 3. On the re-start, turn 3, Tim McDougald and Brown get together and spin, bringing out caution number 4. Hunter takes the lead on lap 3 and goes on to win the Vintage Modifieds 35-lap Main event, followed by McDougald, George Chambers, Bob Fulmer, and Cavin to round out the top five.
Mike Duman had a fast time of 14.945.

Dominick Hunter wins Championship.
Mini Stock Main Event started with AJ Yocom on the pole, and Ron Schlund Sr. on the outside. Schlund Sr. takes the lead on lap 1. Zandar Peters takes the lead on lap 2. On lap 2, turn 2, Ron Schlund Jr. and Jesse Boczar spin, bringing out caution number 1. On lap 21, turns 3 and 4, the leader Peters spins the lap car of Schlund Sr., bringing out caution number 2. Charles LaMere takes the lead on lap 22 and goes on to win the Mini Stock 30-lap Main event, followed by Peters, Shawn Jones, Boczar, and Schlund Sr. to round out the top five.
Charles LaMere had a fast time of 16.100.

Tuner Main Event started with Jeremy Cleveland on the pole, and MaryJane Gallwas on the outside. J. Cleveland takes the lead on lap 1. Tim Jordan takes the lead on lap 2 and hits the leader cone, bringing out caution number 1 to replace leader cone. Zach Wisely takes the lead on lap 3. AJ Yocom takes the lead on lap 6. Wisely re-takes the lead on lap 7. Chris Branon takes the lead on lap 8. Jake Utterback takes the lead on lap 9. Yocom re-takes the lead on lap 10. Branon re-takes the lead on lap 13. Jordan Peterson takes the lead on lap 14. Dean Utterback takes the lead on lap 15. J. Peterson re-takes the lead on lap 16. D. Utterback re-takes the lead on lap 17. Josh Leyva takes the lead on lap 18. J. Utterback re-takes the lead on lap 20. Leyva re-takes the lead on lap 22 and goes on to win the Tuner 22-lap Main event, followed by J. Utterback, Yocom, J. Peterson, and Brad Peterson to round out the top five.
