South Sound Speedway on Saturday September 7, 2024, was full of excitement with four classes on hand. D & S Light Truck & Auto Pro Late Models, 10 cars for 41-laps twice, Hinkle Homes Hobby Stocks, 7 cars for 30-laps, Baby Grands, 7 cars for 30-laps, and Olympia Overhead Doors, Champs Tree Services Tuner 100, 21 cars for 100-laps.

1st Kevin Carver Twin 41 Pro Late Model Main Event started with Chase Pittman on the pole, and Dan Walker on the outside. Pittman takes the lead on lap 1. Bryan Bykerk takes the lead on lap 9. Tom Sweatman takes the lead on lap 11. On lap 13, turn 4, AJ Carver spins, bringing out caution number 1. Matt Barrett takes the lead on lap 18. On lap 29, Jeff Peterson slows on the back stretch and comes to a stop on pit exit, bringing out caution number 2. Barrett goes on to win the 1st Pro Late Model 41-lap Main event, followed by Trevor Flora, Sweatman, Bykerk, and Dave Ford to round out the top five.
2nd Kevin Carver Twin 41 Pro Late Model Main Event started with Bryan Bykerk on the pole, and Matt Barrett on the outside. After the green flag, the caution flag came out for debris from several cars. Barrett takes the lead on lap 1 and goes on to win the 2nd Pro Late Model 41-lap Main event, followed by Trevor Flora, Sweatman, Bykerk, and Jeff Peterson to round out the top five.
Trevor Flora had a fast time of 14.504.

The Hobby Stock Main Event started with Andre Pilon on the pole, and Bryce Tyler on the outside. Tyler takes the lead on lap 1. Pilon takes the lead on lap 2. On lap 11, turns 1 & 2, James Warren spins, bringing out caution number 1. On lap 16, turns 3 & 4, Wally Austin spins Tyler, bringing out caution number 2. Eric Woods takes the lead on lap 17. Pilon re-takes the lead on lap 20. Woods re-takes the lead on lap 21. Pilon re-takes the lead on lap 22. Woods re-takes the lead on lap 23. On lap 26, turns 3 & 4, Brandon Chapman spins bringing out caution number 3. Woods goes on to win the Hobby Stock 30-lap Main event, followed by Pilon, Joe Champ, Austin, and Chapman to round out the top five.
Eric Woods had a fast time of 16.006.
Bryce Tyler won the trophy dash.
Andre Pilon won the heat race.

Baby Grand Main Event started with Shawn Jones on the pole, and Derrick Presley on the outside. Jones takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 10, turns 3 & 4, Peyton Presley spins, bringing out caution number 1. Jones goes on to win the Baby Grand 30-lap Main event, followed by Steven Mitchell, D. Presley, Jamison Johnson, and Mike Duman to round out the top five.
Steven Mitchell had a fast time of 15.324.
Peyton Presley won the trophy dash.
Shawn Jones won the heat race.

Champs Tree Service Tuner 100 Main Event started with Zach Wisely on the pole, and Chris Branon on the outside. Branon takes the lead on lap 1. After the completion of lap 1, turn 1, William Larimer spins, bringing out caution number 1. Wisely takes the lead on lap 2. Ron Schlund Jr. takes the lead on lap 13. On lap 30, turn 4, Dean Utterback spins, bringing out caution number 2. On lap 47, turn 2, Wisely spins, bringing out caution number 3. Josue Leyva takes the lead on lap 56. On lap 58, turn 1, many cars involved, bringing out caution number 4 (did not get the cars involved). On lap 87, back stretch, Jake Utterback and Jordan Peterson get together and spin, bringing out caution number 5. On lap 88, turn 3, Roy Talbott’s car catches fire, bringing out caution number 6. Leyva goes on to win the Tuner 100-lap Main event, followed by Schlund Jr., Royce Iverson, J. Peterson, and Brad Peterson to round out the top five.
Josue Leyva had a fast time of 17.165.

Bob Fulmer wins heat race #1, Jake Utterback wins heat race #2, and Ron Schlund Jr. wins heat race #3.
