South Sound Speedway on Saturday July 27, 2024, was full of excitement with five classes on hand. Baby Grands, 8 cars for 30-laps, Olympia Overhead Doors Tuners, 18 cars for 23-laps, NW Focus Midgets, 1st main 9 cars for 25-laps, 2nd main 12 cars for 25-laps, FSCRA/Super4’s, 9 cars for 35-laps, and Bump to Pass, 13 cars for 15-laps.

Baby Grand Main Event started with Peyton Presley on the pole, and William Potts on the outside. After the green flag Steven Mitchell spins on the front stretch, bringing out caution number 1 and a complete re-start. Potts takes the lead on lap 1. Shawn Jones takes the lead on lap 6. Derrick Presley takes the lead on lap 12. On lap 14, turn 2, Mitchell and Jack Franks get together, bringing out caution number 2. On lap 15, front stretch, Franks spins bringing out caution number 3. Jones re-takes the lead on lap 16. D. Presley re-takes the lead on lap 18 and goes on to win the Baby Grand 30-lap Main event, followed by Jones, Mitchell, Franks, and Potts to round out the top five.
Shawn Jones had a fast time of 15.171.
Shawn Jones won the heat race.

Tuner Main Event started with Mary-Jane Gallwas on the pole, and Zachary Boyatt on the outside. Gallwas takes the lead on lap 1. Royce Iverson takes the lead on lap 2. Gallwas gets black flagged for not taking the leader cone. Iverson exits the track thinking the flag was for him. Dean Utterback takes the lead on lap 3. Jordan Peterson takes the lead on lap 4. Iverson breaks out on lap 6. Utterback re-takes the lead on lap 7. Iverson breaks out again on lap 7. Peterson re-takes the lead on lap 8. Josh Leyva and AJ Yocom break out on lap 8. Gunner Callier takes the lead on lap 14. Peterson re-takes the lead on lap 16. Roy Talbott takes the lead on lap 16. Iverson and Yocom break out again on lap 17. Callier and Talbott switched the lead for the next 7 laps. Talbott goes on to win the Tuners 23-lap Main event, followed Utterback, Peterson, Callier, and Boyatt to round out the top five.
Gunner Callier wins heat race #1, Josh Leyva wins heat race #2, and Jordan Peterson won heat race #3.

NW Focus Midgets 1st Main Event started with Tyler West on the pole, and Jim Guenther on the outside. West takes the lead on lap 1 and goes on to win the NW Focus Midgets 1st 25-lap Main event, followed by Guenther, Jason Thomas, Duane Swanson, and Robert Clark to round out the top five.
NW Focus Midgets 2nd Main Event started with Dalton Christmas on the pole, and Jim Guenther on the outside. Christmas takes the lead on lap 1 and goes on to win the NW Focus Midgets 2nd 25-lap Main event, followed by Thomas, West, Swanson, and Clark to round out the top five.
Tyler West had a fast time of 14.197.

FSCRA / Super 4 Main Event started with Ron Grosvenor on the pole, and Craig Neves on the outside. R. Grosvenor takes the lead on lap 1. Neves takes the lead on lap 5. On lap 17, turn 4, caution was thrown for debris on the track. John Grosvenor takes the lead on lap 18 and goes on to win the FSCRA / Super 4 35-lap Main event, followed by Eddie Secord, Neves, Tommy Laxson and R. Grosvenor to round out the top five.
Eddie Secord had a fast time of 14.410.
Tommy Laxson won the heat race.

Bump to Pass Main Event started with Ryan Schleve on the pole, and Zach Howell on the outside. Kyle Elliott takes the lead on lap 1. JJ Hamilton takes the lead on lap 3. Preston Duman takes the lead on lap 7. Hamilton re-takes the lead on lap 15 and goes on to win the Bump to pass 15-lap Main event, followed by Kyle Desha, Duman, Josh Page and Devin Bellis to round out the top five.
JJ Hamilton had a fast time of 16.946.
Josh Page wins the Boat race.
