Travis Brown, Michael Moreland, Doug Carson, Wesley Tennant Score Season First Wins at Tyler County Speedway

Several first-time winners would grace victory lane on Saturday Night at the Tyler County Speedway at the annual lid lifter of the Tyler County Fair featuring the traditional Bud Weigle Memorial. Picking up season first wins were Travis Brown in the Stutler Motorsports Super Late Model division and Doug Carson in the Jenkins Auto Parts UMP Modified class. Michael Moreland has been knocking on the door all season and on Saturday night he would knock it down on his way to his first ever Tyler County Speedway win in the J&R Excavating RUSH Late Model division. Wesley Tennant would snare his first win of the season over a scant field of SCDRA 4 Cylinders.

Also picking up feature wins on the night included Wesley Reed in the Middlebourne Galaxy Food Center Sportmod main event while Eddie Probst would grab the Sigler Fabrication Hotmod feature event. In the Mini Wedge racing it was Coen Thomas and Eli Smith picking up trips to the EQT Victory Lane.

Busy week coming up at the speedway during the Tyler County Fair, starting on Monday Night, July 29th with Enduro Racing and Sportmods, Tuesday will see Hotmod, SCDRA 4 Cylinder and Mini Wedge action, Wednesday is the FlatKarts, Thursday Truck and Tractor Pulls, Friday Demolition Derby and Saturday is ATV Drags. No Racing next Saturday Night, August 3rd. America’s Baddest Bullring will return with a pair of rescheduled events including the 30th Annual Topless 50 on Saturday, August 10th and ‘Giving Cancer the Black Flag’ Benefit Race on August 17th along with Season Championships and Hillbilly Qualifiers. Don’t forget to get your advance tickets to the Summer’s Biggest Event, the 56th Annual Hillbilly 100 scheduled for Labor Day Weekend!
