BOISE, Idaho (June 13, 2016) A solid weekend of racing for Logan Forler, the Idaho resident posted a pair of Top 10 finishes in ASCS competition in Missouri and Texas; bringing his overall total on the 2016 season to 20.

Taking on the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps on Friday, June 10 at the U.S. 36 Raceway in Cameron, Mo. the draw put Forler at the tail of his Heat Race.

“We drew horrible so we started at the back of the Heat Race but we were able to move forward. The car was good but we missed the redraw by one.”

With is ninth place start spot, Forler was able to make up some ground, with his efforts resulting in a seventh place run, “In the Feature, the car was just awful. You just couldn’t get off the bottom so it was tough to make up any positions.”

Making the overnight drive to Amarillo, Texas for the kick off to the ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek at Route 66 Motor Speedway, the Rush Concrete Pumping No. 2L drew into the second Heat Race with a runner-up result. Again, Forler was one spot shy of the redraw and was able to again advance to a seventh place finish.

“I just messed up about halfway thought the Heat and got passed so that put us out of the Redraw. In the Feature, again, it was on the bottom but it was an alright weekend. We finished both nights and didn’t tear anything up.”

Gearing up for five straight nights to end out the ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek, Forler returns to competition on Tuesday, June 14 at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas. Racing at the Devil’s Bowl gets underway at 8:30 P.M. (CDT).
