Davidson Sweeps Driven Midwest NOW600 Series Debut at Route 66

Inside Line Promotions – AMARILLO, Texas (Aug. 13, 2016) – Danny Davidson swept the Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass event on Saturday at Route 66 Motor Speedway.

Davidson captured his first career win in both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class main events during the series debut at the track.

Davidson won a heat race in each class to advance into the feature redraw. In the Stock Non-Wing class he pulled the No. 4 during the random redraw to start the 15-lap main event on the outside of the second row.

Davidson maneuvered into the lead and held off Joe Klonoski for the triumph with Gideon Keeling placing third, 11th-starting Blake Edwards fourth and Hunter Gengo fifth.

Jacob Johnston also won a heat race in addition to Davidson.

Davidson started on the outside of the front row for the 15-lap Winged ‘A’ Class main event and he capitalized. Keeling finished second with Aaron Brumback third, Klonoski fourth and Jeremey Dockery rounded out the top five.

Klonoski joined Davidson as heat race winners.

The Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass returns to action on Sept. 17 at 281 Speedway in Stephenville, Texas.
