Rosario, Greene, Lee, Jewsbury, Nicholson, Scheulen and McClelland Race to USAC Weekly Wins at Port City Raceway

TULSA, Okla. (June 23, 2019) - Jake Rosario, Tim Greene, Connor Lee, Michaela Jewsbury, Dave Nicholson, Preston Scheulen and Brody McClelland raced to victory on Saturday night at Port City Raceway in their respective USAC Weekly Racing division.

119 Micro Sprint entries signed in for action on Saturday night. 25 Non-Wing Outlaws, 31 Stock Non-Wing, 19 Winged A-Class, 10 Sportsman, 6 Masters, 14 Restricted 'A' Class and 14 Junior Sprints were all in attendance along with 20 POWRi West Midgets.

Going topless for the Non-Wing Nationals tune up, Jake Rosario scored the 20-lap Non-Wing Outlaw feature event. Ryan Mushrush crossed in the second spot. Daniel Shaffer took the third spot with Bobby McIntosh picking up fourth and Shawn Mahaffey rounding out the top five.

Brock Berreth, Ryan Timms, Jordan Herrman, Kelsey Gray and Cody Barnes brought up the top ten.

Heat race action was won by Timms, Steven Curbow and Daniel Shaffer. Herrman won the lone B-Main.

Tim Greene picked up the Non-Wing feature event after a fierce battle with Jason Tracy in the closing laps of 25-lapper. Tracy took the second spot. Daniel Shaffer settled for third coming from the twelfth spot. Seventeenth starting, Jeffrey Newell made his way up to fourth. Shawn Mahaffey finished in fifth.

Kale Drake, Garrett Bias, Dave Nicholson, Jeremy Wickham and Brian Potter were the top ten.

Wickham, Bias, Drake and Shaffer won the four Non-Wing heats while Newell won the B-Feature.

Tenth starting, Connor Lee worked his way up to win the A-Class feature event on Saturday. Jake Rosario came from fifteenth to finish in the runner up spot. Jason Tracy rounded out the podium. Brock Berreth was fourth and Jason Adams fifth.

Kris Carroll, Gage Laney, Ryker Pace, Shawn Mahaffey and Garth Kasiner rounded out the top ten.

Adams, Berreth and Steven Curbow each won their heat races.

Michaela Jewsbury returned to victory lane in the Sportsman class. Tenth starting Ryan Cody came home second. Dave Nicholson was third. Tyler LaPointe crossed in fourth and Justin Simpson in fifth.

Jeff Harris, Bre Lamb, Kaimron Schoonover, Bobby McIntosh and Jerry Heuertz completed the top ten.

Harris and Schoonover won the two heats in the Sportsman class.

Preston Scheulen parked it in Restricted competition. Ryan Cotney followed in second. Baron Silva claimed the third spot from eleventh. Kayden Cole crossed in the fourth spot and Rees Moran took the fifth spot.

Jeramiah Green, Brody McLaughlin, Freddy Rowland, Kylee Young and Hayden Mabe brought up the top ten.

Trey Zorn and Brody McLaughlin each won a heat race.

After starting tenth and being involved in a early race caution, Brody McClelland worked his way through a stout Junior Sprint field to picked up another win on Saturday. Hudsyn Truitt claimed the second spot. Ayden Parrish was third at the line. Talin Turner took the fourth spot with Cooper Stout fifth.

Sky Bartholomew, Tyler Crow, Ryker Griggs, Mekentzi Potter and Levi Smith rounded out the top ten.

Parrish and Masyn Truitt claimed the nights two heat race wins.

On Deck at Port City Raceway is the Non-Wing Nationals on Friday-Saturday, June 28 and 29.
