1/8th Mile Clay Oval Racetrack
Port City Raceway, founded in 1974 as RuJo Raceway, is a 1/8th mile clay oval racetrack located in Tulsa, OK. Throughout its over 40 year history, Port City has always been known for having the toughest weekly competition of any micro sprint track in the country. This, combined with the challengingly tight confines of the racing surface itself has been churning out spectacular racing talent for decades. Port City has produced champions in a spectrum of disciplines in American auto racing such as Tulsa legends Leon Bacon, Donnie Crawford, and Pete Frazier; micro sprint kingpins Frank Flud and Chris Andrews; sprint car standouts Blake Hahn, & Donnie Ray Crawford. USAC standouts Jason Mcdougal, Tyler Thomas, and 2-time champion Brady Bacon; World of Outlaws winners Andy Hillenburg, Shane Stewart, and former champion Daryn Pittman; as well as current NASCAR superstar Christopher Bell.
The high banks and renowned track surface produce some of the most intense wheel to wheel action to be found anywhere. Recent improvements have also made Port City one of the nicest micro sprint tracks in the country with facilities rivaling that of any dirt track. Skybox seating, delicious food options, and the new but already infamous Turn 5 Bar where a live feed from the track can be viewed as well as live streams from other events make for an unforgettable fan experience.
