Curbow, Cochran, Laney, Schoonover, Moran and Bowden Cruise to Victory at Port City Raceway

TULSA, Okla. (April 28, 2019) - Steven Curbow, Chris Cochran, Gage Laney, Kaimron Schoonover, Rees Moran and Titan Bowden each cruised to victory on Saturday night at the Port City Raceway in USAC Weekly Racing action.

A total entry count of 118 USAC Micro Sprints packed the pits along with 23 POWRi West Midgets.

Steven Curbow had his work cut out in the 25-lap USAC Outlaw Micro feature event starting in seventh on the grid. Curbow worked his way through the field to claim the victory. Jake Nail crossed in second with Jerrod Wilson in third. Fourth went to Ty Hulsey with Garrett Olson in fifth.

Joel Smith, Danny James, Kris Carroll, Shawn Wicker and Jordan Herrman claimed the top ten spots.

Nail, Matt Taylor and Herrman were heat race victors.

Hard Chargin' Chris Cochran picked up the USAC Non-Wing feature event win on Saturday coming from the fourteenth starting position in their 25-lap main. Frank Flud followed in second after starting fifteenth. Dustin Dixson was third with Jeremy Wickham. Fifth went to Ryan Timms.

Shawn Mahaffey, Ronnie James, Isaac Barr, Jake Nail and KJ Snow picked up the top ten.

Dave Nicholson, Larry Williams, Caleb Pence and Timms were the nights four heat winners with KJ Snow claiming the lone B-Main event.

Gage Laney picked up his first feature event win in the USAC A-Class division sweeping the night. Laney held off Jayson Campbell who crossed in second. Kayla Ward took the final podium spot in third. Cole Roberts claimed the fourth spot with Shawn Mahaffey the top five.

Kris Carroll, Frank Flud, Grady Mercer, Jordan Herrman and Jason Tracy claimed the top ten spots.

Roberts, Carroll and Laney picked up the nights three heat races with Ryan Timms scoring the B-Feature event.

It was Kaimron Schoonover who picked up the victory in the USAC Sportsman division with Troy Minton crossing right behind in second. Bobby McIntosh took the third spot with Ryan Cody fourth and Matt Cash fifth.

Tim Barnes, Dave Nicholson, Rob Lamb, Tyler LaPointe and Bre Lamb rounded out the top ten finishers.

McIntosh and Rob Lamb took the heat race wins.

Rees Moran returned to victory lane in the USAC Restricted class on Saturday night. Moran who started in the fifteenth starting spot maneuvered through the field to claim the victory. Joshua Gentry finished in second after starting sixth row outside. Baron Silva crossed in the third spot with Ryan Timms fourth. The top five rounded out with Brody McLaughlin.

TJ Thompson, Grayson Gaddy, Freddy Rowland, Hayden Mabe and Kayden Cole were your top ten.

Timms and Silva were the nights heat race winners.

Titan Bowden ran to victory in the USAC Junior Sprint division. Parker Scheulen finished in the runner up spot with Cale McGee rounding out the podium. Masyn Truitt and Hudsyn Truitt rounded out the top five.

Ryker Griggs, Ayden Parrish, Brody McClelland, Jase Blevins and Sky Bartholomew completed the top ten finishers.

Hudsyn Truitt and Cale McGee picked up the nights heat race wins.
