Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Set for Pete Frazier Memorial This Weekend at Port City Raceway

Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Oct. 15, 2018) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass is down to its penultimate event of the 2018 season.

The series will invade Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., this Friday and Saturday for the 19th annual Pete Frazier Memorial presented by Western Flyer Express. The three premier NOW600 Series classes – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – will compete each night.

Daniel Shaffer holds a 69-point lead in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings entering the event. Daison Pursley ranks second while Trey Burke is third – only 111 points out of the lead.

Jim Woods currently has a 10-point advantage over Pursley in the Winged ‘A’ Class championship standings. Burke is 79 points behind Woods.

The closest battle all season long has been in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division as Ryder Laplante heads into this weekend with a 12-point margin over Ryan Timms. Kale Drake is third and is only 88 points out of the top spot.

This Friday will be a complete show for all classes with the top-five finishers and the Hard Charger Award winner locking into Saturday’s finale, which pays $600 to win in both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class divisions and $400 to win in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division.

Drivers who aren’t locked in on Saturday will compete in heat races and B Mains to try to advance into the main event.

There is an entry fee of $120, which includes pit passes for each competitor. Pit passes will be $30 per person each night for non-drivers.

Adults tickets are $10 while seniors and children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old are $6. Children ages 5-years-old and younger as well as veterans get in free.

The gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. on Friday. Everything is an hour earlier on Saturday.
