Nate Dussel, Chris Carpenter and Kyle Bond Conquer Ohio Valley Speedway

A great crowd would brave Mother Nature’s nearby presence as the Ohio Valley Speedway would welcome the FAST on DIRT Sprint Car Series for the first time in series and track history. A jam packed pit area would see Nate Dussel, Chris Carpenter, Kyle Bond, Mike Smith, Chris Wise, Bryson Long and Stephen Sutler pick up KMA Auto Victory Lane trips on Friday Night.

The Ti22 Performance FAST 410 sprint cars made their first ever appearance at Ohio Valley Speedway Friday Night. A modern era record field of cars filled the pit area, and Nate Dussel went wire to wire to secure the win in his first ever trip to the Valley.

Ohio Valley Speedway starter, Matt Amick dropped the Way Floor Coverings green flag on the Ti22 Performance main event and Dussel out drag raced Josh Davis to claim a lead he would never relinquish. Action was all around the track with drivers using every available line on the track. In the race to the finish, it was Lee Jacobs charging late, but he was no match this night for Dussel who claimed the win. Past FAST champions Cale Conley and Cole Duncan ran 3rd and 4th respectively, with Jordan Ryan having a great run up to complete the top 5. The balance of the top 10 included Nathan Skaggs, Josh Davis, Bryan Nuckles, Zeth Sabo and Jamie Myers.

At the checkers it was Mike Smith ahead of Fizer, Hodge, Toby Wilson in his maiden voyage and up and comer Sonny Leek.

Another strong field of 20 SCDRA 4 Cylinders would take to the track with Thurman, Ohio’s Chris Wise aboard the 6pac Ford Focus pick up his second straight win at the Valley.
