Ohio Valley Speedway....Great Family Fun all Summer Long
Several Kid Friendly Events to be Featured
(Lubeck, WV) Several unique and special events highlight the 2021 schedule at Ohio Valley Speedway, there is always something going on in Lubeck. So load the kids up and kickstart your weekend every Friday Night with a night of fast family fun at the Ohio Valley Speedway. From Monster Trucks to Fireworks to awesome giveaways your summer of fun awaits those young and old.
Be sure to join us on Friday Night, April 16th as we kick off our 63rd season of action-packed excitement. While several big paying special events featuring the best racers in the region awaits Mom & Dad the 2021 Ohio Valley Speedway schedule is littered with quality family friendly events for the young race fans.
Join us on Friday Night, May 7th as race fans and kids are invited trackside at intermission for ‘Selfie Autograph Night’. Get up close with all your favorite heroes and be sure to bring a sharpie, camera and items to be autographed…..always a favorite event. Bring your sweet tooth as on Friday, May 21st the kids will be called to the frontstretch for an awesome ‘Candy Toss’ at intermission.
A huge night at the ‘Valley’ is scheduled on Saturday Night, May 29th as for the first time ever Monster Trucks invade the Lubeck facility. A family filled night of carnage and destruction will see the best Monster Trucks of the Monster Truck Racing League square off in several popular competitions including the popular Freestyle. Bring the kids early as a pre-show ‘Meet and Greet’ will also be part of the must-see program!
As part of our Feelin’ Friendly $5 Friday on June 25th, not only are race fans welcomed to the ‘Valley’ for just a $5 bill but the children get the opportunity to head trackside at intermission for a huge ‘Gold Rush’. People of all ages and especially the youngsters will want to attend on Friday Night, July 2nd as not only does the BOSS Non-Wing Sprints invade but a huge Fireworks show will entertain at intermission as we celebrate our Independence and kick off the 4th of July weekend. The summer months really heat up as on Friday Night, July 9th the always popular ‘Kids Bike Giveaway’ will be another kid friendly highlight dotting the 2021 schedule.
One of the seasons biggest events will take center stage on Friday Night, July 23rd as we celebrate ‘Christmas in July’ Ohio Valley Speedway style. Thanks to the fine folks at Toys for Tots, the fans and racers who provide toys for the less fortunate and Dan and Charlotte Hanson, the Valley is turned into a Winter Wonderland that must be seen to believe. An incredible giving night as we fill Santa’s sleigh with Toys and who knows…..Santa Claus and the Grinch may even make an appearance. A special night in a very festive atmosphere that is a real joy to be part of and the kiddos will love as well.
Its ‘Back to School’ Backpack Giveaway Night on Friday Night, July 30th followed by a new event we are excited about on Friday Night, August 13th as its ‘Freaky Fast’ Friday. That’s right its Friday the 13th at your local short track which means one thing….its Halloween in August! The kids will love the family friendly SpookTrackular evening featuring ghosts, goblins and goodies. A kids ‘Track n’ Treat’ and Costume Contest are just some of the cool stuff happening on Friday the 13th at the Valley.
On Friday Night, August 27th its ‘Kids Eat Free Night’ featuring a (Drink, Hotdog and Chip) coupon for every child in attendance along with $1 Dogs at our concessions all evening.

About OVS: Ohio Valley Speedway is a fast 3/8 mile dirt track located just south of Lubeck, WV on Rt. 68 south and Wadesville Road and races every Friday Night April thru September.
