Beach House Mini-Sprints begin three race swing on consecutive weekends at Macon Speedway
MACON, Ill. – The Beach House Mini-Sprints race at famed Macon Speedway for the first of three consecutive weekends during the action-packed program Saturday night. The 600cc winged mini-sprints fly around Macon Speedway, and the big field of cars always shows up for the exciting wheel to wheel action.
A total of 34 cars have raced at Macon Speedway during the season, and a huge number is expected this weekend as the cars prepare for the invasion by the POWRi series on Sept. 6, when the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midgets and the Outlaw Micros both run double features. With so many points and cash up for grabs, that will be a big night. So the Beach House Mini-Sprint drivers will be gearing their cars up for the top level machinery and talented drivers.
Also on Saturday, GRZ FM 98.1 presents the Big Ten Street Stocks Championship. The points title will be decided with a driver’s top eight finishes among the 10-race season. Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Sportsman, Outlaw Hornets and Stock Hornets will also race.
The gals from Pop’s Place will race in Bud Light Ladies Night presented by Y103. The top two finishers will advance to the Bud Light championship. Michelle Perry, Kary Keller, Genny Hinton, Christine Vogel and Stephanie Keenan will put the pedal to the metal.
All ladies receive half price admission during Bud Light Ladies Night.
Gates open at 5 with racing at 7.
