(Kansas City, Kansas) Lakeside Speedway has a busy night planned for this Friday with the annual E-Mod Explosion and fourth-annual Noah’s Bandage Night at the races. E-Mod drivers will race for $750-to-win, $120-to-start event, but if there are over 25 cars the first-place payout increases to $1,000-to-win and $150-to-start the race. Entry fee for E-Mod drivers is $50 and includes the driver’s pit pass. Last year’s event drew 27 cars with Rodney Schweizer collecting the victory.
Noah’s Bandage Night grows in popularity each year. For this event, Lakeside Speedway requests that fans and drivers bring colorful (kid-themed) band-aids to donate to this outstanding organization. Those who donate band-aids have a chance to win various raffle items. The event takes place on the main concourse.
Joining E-Mods on the bill this Friday will be A-Mods, B-Mods, Stock Cars, and E-Mods racing for NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series action.
Friday’s timeline: Pit gate opens at 5 p.m. followed by grandstand admissions beginning at 6 p.m. The driver pill draw closes at 6:45 followed by the pit meeting at 7, practice hot laps at 7:15, and racing approximately 7:45.
Friday ticketing: General Admission: Adults (16+) $15, Seniors/Military $12, Juniors (12-15) $5, Under 12 Free. Suites: Adults (13+) $20, Kids (2-12) $10, Under 2 Free. Terrace: Adults (16+) $15, Seniors and Military $12, Juniors (12-15) $5, Under 12 Free. For Suite and Terrace availability call (913) 299-9206. Friday Pit Pass: 7 and Older $35, Under 7 $15. All kids 17 and under must have signed Minor Release to enter the pit area.
For those unable to make it in person, you may watch the event live via pay-per-view by pointing your web browser to www.lakesideSpeedway.TV. Once on the website, in the top left area of the page next to the Lakeside Speedway logo, click on “Upcoming Live” and from there select the event from the menu that appears and follow the payment prompts and questions. The fee is $19.99.
