Lakeside Speedway Set to Host Christy’s Tasty Queen Race Night on Friday!

(Kansas City, Kansas) The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Championship Season continues Friday at Lakeside Speedway with Christy’s Tasty Queen Night at the Races. This week’s action features A-Mods, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Pure Stocks, and E-Mods while Saturday sees the return of the Great Plains Flat Track Motorcycle Series.

Christy's Tasty Queen is well known for Kansas City’s ‘Best Pork Tenderloin’ but in the world of racing, The Christy Family is just as well known for their long-time support of local racers and as part of this Friday’s events, they have announced that bonus money is on the line for Pure Stock drivers at the pay window.

Christy’s Tasty Queen continues its years’ long tradition of specializing in traditional American fast-food favorites and fresh salads including specials throughout the week. The establishment is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Stop by in person at 1405 South 55th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, or visit them online at www.facebook.com/Christys-Tasty-Queen.

On Friday, Pits Open 5PM, Grandstands Open 6PM, Driver Pill Draw Closes 6:45PM, Pit Meeting 7PM, Hot Laps 7:15PM and Racing begins at 7:45PM (or immediately following hot laps). Ticketing and admission information follows: General Admission: Adults (16+) $15, Seniors/Military $12, Juniors (12-15) $5, Under 12 FREE. Suites: Adults (13+) $20, Kids (2-12) $10, Under 2 FREE. Terrace: Adults (16+) $15, Seniors/Military $12, Juniors (12-15) $5, Under 12 FREE. For Suite and Terrace availability call (913) 299-9206. Pit Passes: 7 and Older $35 • Under 7 years $15. Minors 17 and under must have signed Minor Release to enter the pits.

For those unable to make it in person, you may watch the event live via pay-per-view by pointing your web browser to www.lakesideSpeedway.TV. Once on the website, in the top left area of the page next to the Lakeside Speedway logo, click on “Upcoming Live” and from there select the event from the menu that appears and follow the payment prompts and questions. The fee is $19.99.

For Saturday’s Great Plains Flat Track Series times are as follows: Sign-in 4:30PM, Practice 6:00PM, Races 7:00PM. For Tickets: General Admission $1, Seniors (62+) and Military $10, Juniors (12-15) $5, Under 12 FREE, Pit Passes $20. Watch the event live at www.LakesideSpeedway.TV for $19.99.
