Karts Have Two Race Weekend This Saturday And Sunday At Willamette

Lebanon, Oregon- After hosting three races in the span of five days the 1/3-mile clay oval of Willamette Speedway will take the weekend off. However that doesn't mean that there is no racing racing at the facility. Karts will take center stage Saturday, September 9th, and Sunday, the 10th. General Admission to watch from the grandstands is FREE while Pit Passes are $10.00.
Classes in action include Pee Wee Subaru, Pee Non-Subaru, Box Stock, Speedway, LO206, 125cc, 250cc, and the Open Kage. Saturday Pit Gates open at 4:00 PM and will be open till 6:00. Pit Meeting is at 6:15 with Hot Laps at 6:30. There will be two rounds of ten lap heat races for each division. There will be a Pole Shuffle for the top six in heat points for all divisions except the Opens. The top ten in the Opens will partake in the pole shuffle.
The driver that wins the best of two out of three in the final round of the pole shuffle will receive prizes. $50.00 Gift Cards for the Pee Wee Subaru, Pee Non-Subaru, and Box Stock while $50.00 Speedway, $50.00 LO206, $100.00 125cc, $100.00 250cc, and $200.00 for the Open Kage.
Sunday the Pit Gate opens at 8:30 AM, Pit Meeting 9:45, and Hot Laps start at 10:00. Trophy Dashes will be ran with the top six in all divisions with the finishing results setting up the starting order for the first three rows. The six drivers involved are the top six in heat race points based off of Saturday.
If there are car counts that warrant consolation features they will be ran before the main events. Pee Wee and Box Stock divisions will race for twenty laps each with a $100.00 gift card going to the winner with the top three also receiving gift cards.
Speedways and LO206 will each go for twenty laps with a $100.00 gift card going to the winner with the top three also receiving gift cards. The 125cc feature is twenty laps in distance and $200.00 to win with the top three getting gift cards. The 250cc main is twenty-five laps and $300.00 with the top five getting gift cards.
