Willamette Speedway Set For July 15th Mid-Season Championship Night Presented By Shriner's Hospitals For Children

Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway heads into Saturday, July 15th, which marks the halfway point of the 2017 season. The Mid-Season Championship Night will be presented this year by Shriner's Hospitals For Children. All six regular classes will be in action including Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Collen Winebarger has two wins in the Super Late Models which is the most. Bricen James, Joey Tanner, and Darren Coffell have one win each. Tanner is currently leading the standings.

There has yet to be a repeat winner in the IMCA Modified ranks. Bricen James, Dustin Cady, Collen Winebarger, Wade Taylor, Jesse Williamson, and Ethan Dotson have all managed to collect victories. James is on top of the points table headed into the weekend.

Dan Deibele has dominated the Super Sports lately. Deibele has amassed four triumphs this year, including last Wednesday, and is the only multi-feature winner. Drivers who have won once include Jordan Wright, Gil Pickett, and Chris Mott. Deibele has the most points thus far this season.

In the Sportsman division James Slover's team has two wins this year. Jeff Titus, Sandy Sanders, and Jeff Rash have gotten one trophy in the winner's circle. Slover is the standings leader.

In the Street Stocks Brian Cronk has three wins while his father, David, has two. Kevin Roberts is the only other winner in 2017. Jody Tanner has accumulated the most markers headed into Saturday.

In the Hornets its been all about Tracy Muse. Muse has won four out of five shows this season. The only other winner this season has been John Gartner. Muse has a massive points lead as the second half of the season approaches.
