Missouri State Penitentiary Night at LOS

Eldon, MO. (06/29/2020) Weekly racing resumes Saturday, July 11th at Lake Ozark Speedway with Missouri State Penitentiary Night at the Races. In the eighth event of the shortened season, feature racing has been highly contested nearly every week in all classes of competition. Due to the cancelation of last week’s program kids and parents alike can now enjoy the Lake Ozark Speedway Independence Day Blowout with one of the largest fireworks displays in the area lighting up “The Lake” sky after the close racing action this week.

Classes scheduled to race on Saturday, July 11th include LOS Late Models, POWRi RaceSaver 305 Sprints, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, and the exciting ASCS Warrior Region 360 Wing Sprints. Pit’s open at 3 pm with general admission tickets available at 5 pm. Hot Laps kick-off at 6:30, with racing to follow and fireworks after the final feature.

Will Austin Alumbaugh #33 repeat as feature winner for the Warrior Region or perhaps defending series champion Miles Paulus #21 will park his hotrod on the front-stretch after a feature win? Saturday, July 11th at Lake Ozark Speedway will decide with thrilling side-by-side winged action from the RacinBoy’s.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps on the docket for action. Derek Henson #27, Todd McCoin #7x, and Curt Potter #11P are in a tight battle for season supremacy in the Lake Ozark Speedway Late Models point’s battle, separated by less than twenty points among the top three. Aaron Gustin #27 has had the hottest shoe in Pure Stock racing in 2020 winning three events heading into the week’s racing program, yet trails point leader Waylon Dimmitt #11 and Trevor Wilson #30 in one of the closest points battle at LOS. Will drivers continue to chase championship points, or will another competitor add their name to the ongoing list of entrants seeking the end of the year honors in 2020?
