DockWorks/ Osage Precast Presents Championship Night at Lake Ozark Speedway

Eldon, MO. (09/08/2020) Championship glory remains on the line for several divisions within the regular weekly racing program at Lake Ozark Speedway heading into the final night for drivers to try and gain the valuable season points. Dock Works and Osage Precast are proud to bring race fans the End of Season Championship at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday, September 12th.
Many classes will come down to the wire with only the slightest of margins separating the top contenders for a championship. The 360 Wing Sprints remains close as Evan Martin #4 heads into the final race with a two-point advantage over Miles Paulus #21.

POWRi RaceSaver 305 Sprints will have Kenny Potter #55 holding a twenty-one-point lead over one-time feature winner Danny Clark #14C, with Austin Crane #02 still within the championship picture only thirty points behind the leader.

The Lake Ozark Speedway Late Model division could not be any closer with only one race remaining on the season championship schedule as two drivers are locked in a tie atop the points standings. Justin Russell #12J and Derek Henson #27 will need this last event to decide the fates of their title bids, while rookie stand-out Curt Potter #11p stay’s close only seventeen points shy of the two tied contenders.

Darren Turner #888 has proven consistency pays off, picking up a single feature win in 2020 but also placing inside the top ten in every event for the Street Stocks at Lake Ozark Speedway. Accumulating a healthy one-hundred-twelve-point advantage, Turner leads Ted Welschmeyer #21W into the final race for the division.

The Pure Stock class at Lake Ozark Speedway has all but been decided as Aaron Gustin #27, gaining six feature wins in the year, has had a stellar showing this season, and leads the division by ninety-two points with the final race on the horizon. Trevor Wilson #30 remains in the runner-up spot and will need a lot of help to catch the point-leader.

In the final points race of the season for the USRA B-Modifieds, the man to beat is Cole Campbell #22C with three feature wins and nine top tens in his ten feature starts. Campbell has grown a forty-two-point margin in his favor over the season-long quest for a championship with Earl Pryor #57E his next closest competitor. Keeping close and in the hunt, Jordan Martin #50J rounds out the podium contenders only forty-nine points from first.
