August 18th Results & Recap
Racing action returned to the Jamestown Speedway this past Saturday night for Back to School Night presented by West End Hide Fur, and Metal Company, Inc!! All regular classes were back in action and the racing action was intense on Saturday night as only two weeks remained in on-track points action. The weather was beautiful, the track was awesome, and we had a total of 89 cars in the pits. Congratulations goes out to our winners and runner-ups on Saturday night:
Bombers (Central Dakota Pure Stocks) - 11 Cars:
- Winner: Greg Moore, Runner-Up: Travis Edinger
Wissota Midwest Modifieds - 32 Cars:
- Winner: Jason Grimes, Runner-Up: Scott Bintz
Wissota Street Stocks - 16 Cars:
- Winner: Jonny Carter, Runner-Up: Rory Opp
IMCA Modifieds - 25 Cars:
- Winner: Jason Wolla, Runner-Up: Josh Eberhardt
Jr./Sr. Slingshots - 5 Cars:
- Winner: Jaidyn Edinger, Runner-Up: Ryley Smith

Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week is Season Championship Night with all regular classes running. The gates open at 5:30 pm and racing action begins at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone in Jamestown this Saturday for our final race before the 47th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede!!
