Feger adds two DIRTcar Summer Nationals wins & Week 3 title
Feger Racing picked back up with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Tuesday as Jason joined 28 competitors at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.) for the 10th round of the Hell Tour.
Ending the night on a high note after getting caught in heat trouble, Jason gained eight positions in the 30-lap feature to finish seventh.
For the 44th annual Herald & Review 100 on Thursday at the mighty Macon Speedway (Macon, Ill.), Feger topped his time trial group before placing first in his heat. Staying patient in an eventful race that saw several leaders, Jason drove from the tail after a lap-75 tangle to pull off the impressive $7,500 victory. He recorded his ninth win of the season ahead of Tyler Clem, Ashton Winger, Tommy Sheppard Jr., and Tyler Erb.
Following a fifth-place result in Friday’s DIRTcar Summer Nationals event at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.), Jason returned to victory lane with a $10,000 triumph on Saturday at Highland Speedway (Highland, Ill.). He recorded his 10th win of the season ahead of Tanner English and Tyler Erb.
Feger’s weekend drew to a close on Sunday with a 10th-to-2nd run in the 30-lap A-Main at Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.).
The performance secured Jason the Week 3 DIRTcar Summer Nationals points title. He earned a $10,000 payday.
